In depth

Verdict

Charles Byrnes has been unable to find a race for Courage and the former Sir Michael Stoute inmate has beaten beaten when a short-priced favourite on his last two starts. He didn't appear to live up to his name at Roscommon last time and is passed over in favour of GREAT JONES. Willie Mullins' bumper winner could probably do with some rain as he found the ground a bit too lively when narrowly beaten by Captain Lob here three weeks ago and can go one better. Castletimon was just behind in third and looks held but Tangolan ran a fine race when narrowly beaten at Tramore on his reappearance and looks a big threat.
