In depth

Verdict

Plenty of runners but few with realistic chances. BOLD ASSASSIN looked a likely future winner when a close second in a Limerick handicap in December and started favourite at Cork three months later but finished last of seven. That wasn't his form and he can get off the mark. Caesar Rock has shown potential and has place prospects while Fakir D'alene would have a chance second to none on his head defeat here in September. Part Time Farmer had some strong bumper form before making his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse where he found only Salt Wind too strong so he's an obvious threat.
