Westhaven has been alternating between hurdles and fences and ran well over timber at Bellewstown but he has a penalty to carry for his victories on the Flat. Golden Heron had shown nothing before a much improved run at Tramore in May and further progress would see him in the shake-up but it's MAGICAL MOON who looks the one to be on. He had a run on the level a couple of weeks ago to help him regain confidence following a last-flight fall here last month where he would have been involved in the finish but for the mishap. His overall form gives him the edge and compensation awaits.
