Verdict

Presenting Bonnie won a maiden and a handicap here before finishing last in a better race at Sligo which can't have been her form. BLOWING DIXIE was well beaten in that handicap on this track before a very much better effort when runner-up at Downpatrick. A Southwell specialist when trained in the UK, he may just be getting the hang of hurdling and can go one better. Scalor gained his only success to date in a maiden at this fixture a year ago while Joeswayornoway is 20lb higher than her only victory at Clonmel in March. Jazz Ranger usually gets into contention though a strike-rate of 2-49 is off-putting while Princely Conn is 11lb higher than his chase mark.
