The Dasher Conway landed a Tipperary maiden last May and after three moderate efforts over the winter bounced back to form with a battling victory at Clonmel where he was conceding the runner-up 16lb. Roscommon maiden winner Trebizond started favourite on his reappearance here in May but was impeded on a couple of occasions and didn't give his true running. Swelltime hasn't won for two years and was well beaten off this mark at Cork a week ago while Barbaha Queen finished last at Tramore after beating Itwasfate, who runs earlier, at Clonmel. PRETTY LITTLE LIAR has been running reasonably well on the Flat and won by ten lengths the last time she ran over timber in October. She's 9lb higher but gets the nod. Scalor is the only course and distance winner but hasn't been in the best of form.
