ROBIN DES FORET has had four starts on good ground so today's conditions should prove ideal. He's taking a huge step- p in trip from his easy victory over the minimum at Tipperary but his pedigree suggests he'll have no problems. Fly Rory Fly battled on strongly to score over 2m6f at Downpatrick last week but will need more here as will Hidden Charmer, though the latter's victory here last month could get a boost from runner-up Great Khan earlier. Lambs Lane dead-heated in a bumper here last month but was a 100/1 chance on his hurdling debut at Clonmel in March.
Fly Rory Fly (IRE) Evensfav (11-4) Chased leader in 2nd, not fluent 5 out, improved to join leader before 2 out, pushed along before last, ridden to lead inside final furlong and kept on well close home, won at Downpatrick 2m 6f mdn gd in May beating Polymath (11-4) by 3/4l, 7 ran.
Hidden Charmer (IRE) 10-1 (11-4) Mid-division on inner, 7th halfway, improved into 4th 3 out where not fluent, went 2nd after next and led before last, pushed out and kept on well run-in, won at Kilbeggan 2m 3f mdn gd in Apr beating Great Khan (11-4) by 6 1/2l, 16 ran.
Robin Des Foret (IRE) 5-4fav (11-12) Tracked leader in 2nd, disputed from 4th, asserted after 2 out, slightly untidy last, ridden and kept on well run-in, won at Tipperary 2m mdn gd in Apr beating Leomar (11-2) by 6 1/2l, 20 ran.
