Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer THE HOLY ONE did well in bumpers and showed he would be successful over hurdles soon with a fine run at the Punchestown Festival when only just beaten into third after leading at the last. This should be his day though there are plenty of dangers including Tenth Amendment, who has been running in Grade 1 and 2 company since second to Mitchouka at Fairyhouse in November. Glorious Legend, a winner at Salisbury for Ed Walker, made a moderate start over hurdles at Wexford in September but is likely to make progress this campaign while Ballybrowney Jack very nearly snatched victory at Clonmel in September on his hurdling debut. Minella Times, very unlucky on his debut between the flags, ran well on his hurdling debut in a Cork maiden and is another to consider.
