Verdict

Vermilion Cliffs is carrying a penalty for his victory at Dundalk when trained by Aidan O'Brien but made a promising start over timber at Wexford when a close third so should improve. Henry Star has shown some potential and his stable also run Bergentown, who is stepping up in trip. VOICE OF HOPE was unplaced in nine starts on the Flat and twice over hurdles before finding form with a neck defeat over this track and trip then followed with another close defeat over shorter at Tramore. He looks the one to beat though Henry De Bromhead's newcomer True Faith, a very expensive son of Milan out of a Flat and jumper winner, wouldn't need to be a star to make a successful debut.
