Otay Kawn shared the spoils in a beginners event here last month with Trendelburg but looks high in the weights here. SUPERCEDE won a 3m1f handicap here a year ago very easily and suffered in the weights as a consequence. He's been competing at a much higher level over hurdles and fences and can get back to winning ways. Connections of Jamsie Hall have been quick off the mark in bringing him out again following his short-head defeat by Ahorsecalledmolly at Roscommon on Tuesday and the eight-year-old must have strong claims of going one better. Francis Du Mesnil is very consistent but hardly ever wins as the assessor can't drop him in the weights while Keoghs Bar struggled from a 9lb higher mark at Wexford after completing a double over this C&D.
