In depth

Verdict

CLASSIC FRONTIER, beaten just a head by Larry Luso when favourite at Punchestown last time, can gain compensation here under Davy Russell as the fast ground and trip are ideal and he's only 4lbs higher. Doctor Woodfield has been hit with a 10lbs rise for his victory over 2m4f here when today's rival Trotsky was 14 lngths back in second and is likely to get much closer. Blaze Trailer was disqualified from fourth on the flat at Clonmel last time but that was a fair effort and he can get involved back over timber here. Artiste Bay has dropped to a fair mark these days so it was no surprise to see a better run at Limerick last time and he's another to consider.
