Verdict

Oisin James has shown battling qualities to score at Tramore and Clonmel under Rachel Blackmore and though 7lb higher looks on the upgrade. THE INFORMER didn't find quite as much as expected after travelling well at Downpatrick but, with a stronger gallop likely here, can add to his lone victory at Ballinrobe in August. Shabra's Bertolini finished just in front of him that day but had the benefit of an earlier run and may not be up to confirming the form. The veteran Russian Regent hasn't run since November and is better known as a chaser but he can race from a 32lb lower mark back over timber and, if ready for this, has to be a threat to all.
