ONE LAST TANGO had shown little before a much better run at Killarney last month when chasing home San Salvador with Watergrange Jack, who was slightly impeded, close up in third. Batting Bay couldn't get close enough to the front pair to mount a challenge here on the same day but stayed on nicely and is certain to improve for the experience. Kilmer made a promising start at Killarney in May while very much better must have been expected of Rigmarole at Downpatrick as she started favourite but was beaten a long way.
