Verdict

Duckweed has already won twice over fences but was disappointing on his handicap debut over track and trip in July. Course winner Cecil Corbett ran poorly at Galway but this looks easier and he still has time on his side. Heist takes a big step up in trip but there are no stamina doubts surrounding Stonehall Jack as he won over course and distance last time on his first try beyond 2m6f. DOWN UNDER was pulled up on testing going here in July but had been running well at the track prior to that effort. Conditions today will be much more suitable and Francis Flood's charge is fancied to bounce back.
