The going is the key to SOMETHING GRAND as all of her best runs have come on good or faster ground. She was having her first start since October when well supported to land a handicap on good to firm at Tramore a couple of weeks ago but found Rock County just too strong. Luca Brasi was unfortunate to come up against an in-form rival when runner-up to Carlowsantana at Gowran and looks sure to give a good account despite his big weight. Winning point-to-pointer Cloncrave has shown the occasional flashes of form over timber though he's had 16 starts and has yet to lose his maiden tag. Billybhoy once looked quite promising but is another long-time maiden while blinkers will need to have the desired effect on Run And Dream if Paul Rothwell's mare is to get competitive.
