      Verdict

      A couple of these are clear of the rest on today’s terms. Fabricate returns to action having won a Group 3 at Windsor in August when a below-par AUTOCRATIC was eased down in the closing stages. But the latter had won the Brigadier Gerard at Sandown earlier in the year and, with a recent outing in the Winter Derby at Lingfield under his belt, Sir Michael Stoute’s charge may have the edge today. Dommersen was a progressive handicapper back in 2016 but missed the whole of last year while Stellar Surprise has stronger form than Snowy Winter on the all-weather.
