In depth

Verdict

BOUNTIFUL BAY has finished second in each of his last three races and can get her head in front for the first time at the expense of Welsh Opera and Sarah's Art. The selection has shown improved form of late and was not beaten far behind Desert Opal over one furlong shorter here last time out. The step up in trip ought to suit and if she can recapture her best form she could prove difficult to beat. Welsh Opera caught the eye when finishing second at Wolverhampton last time out. That was a personal best effort after being given a chance by the handicapper and any market moves should be noted. Sarah's Art won here over seven furlongs back in September and even though he has crept up in the weights he ran right up to form over course and distance when second to Musical Script so any support should be noted. But for the winner we return to Bountiful Bay.
