      Verdict

      Robin Hoods Bay followed up a double at Lingfield with a terrific effort in the Winter Derby at the same track a fortnight ago when second to Farraaj. He beat Cai Shen and Tinshu in the process and collateral form with the winner has him closely matched with today's rival Genzy. Burano has been racing at Meydan without success and was well beaten in a Group 2 behind Marco Botti's Jakkalberry last time. The Newmarket trainer runs MARCRET in this, who was having his first outing since September when below par at Lingfield last month. Last year's Group 3 Huxley Stakes winner will be much straighter today and is fancied to reverse latest running with Miblish and land this.
