Qaabil finished runner-up over 7f at Chelmsford on his debut for the Haggas yard and can figure again stepping back up in trip. But SHERIFFMUIR found only one too good over today’s trip at Lingfield on his first start since July and John Gosden’s colt gets the vote with improvement expected. Qatar Queen finished second at Chelmsford back in September and is another to consider while Gosden also runs Godhead but fellow newcomer and Scat Daddy offspring Brenbar is a half-brother to winners on Dirt and makes more appeal representing Roger Varian.
