        Verdict

        CEYHAN was behind the well beaten runner-up Lord Napier at Doncaster back in July. Both have had an outing since but the latter never figured in a handicap at Chelmsford in November and the former went close in a maiden race over today’s trip at Lingfield a week ago. Jamie Osborne’s charge is preferred on that evidence and can come out best in this. Belabour has been thereabouts in a couple of starts over a mile and breeding suggests this longer trip will suit but the remainder are harder to fancy on what little they have shown so far.
