In depth

Verdict

Tambura stayed on gamely to make all at Plumpton last time but quicker conditions here are not in her favour. Dolores Delightful is steadily coming to hand and should go close again after her latest second at Chepstow while Midnight Sapphire was only beaten a head over a shorter trip last time at Sandown. One Big Love had a pipe-opener over 2m at Southwell earlier this month and is back over a more suitable distance today. She’s still a maiden but could make the frame with Liam McKenna’s claim a plus. NORDIC NYMPH goes from strength-to-strength and Henry Daly’s mare can complete the four-timer, despite another 6lb rise. She appears to handle all types of going and is worthy of a try at this higher level.
