        Verdict

        Great Hunter landed the odds at Newcastle when dropped down to 6f and is penalised. State Secretary was pulled-up after a stumble at Salisbury back in May but had gone close on the all-weather before that while SUBSTANTIAL ran fresh when third at Newcastle on his belated seasonal debut. The Haggas colt should settle better today with that run under his belt and gets the vote to open his account. The remainder are harder to recommend with Il Pescatore debuting for a new yard.
