Intrepidly has a 7lb hike to contend with having won at Windsor in July and Alfarris has the more recent form with last month’s success at Doncaster but is upped in class today. But EMENEM went close in a higher grade handicap at Goodwood last month and Simon Dow’s colt should make another bold bid in this with a similar effort.
