      Verdict

A couple stand out from the rest including Big Kitty, a close-up fourth at Wolverhampton last time and fitted with a tongue-tie for this. But CHEEKY AZ was noted finishing with a late flourish over today’s trip at Newcastle on his debut and Roger Varian’s colt should go close with normal progress and an apprentice taking 3lb off his back. Kawaalees has gone backwards since an earlier second at Leicester but Leisurewear may improve and is preferred to the newcomer Bullet Tooth Tony.
