Verdict

Former useful point-to-point performer Over The Storm created a good impression when making a winning debut over regulation fences at Doncaster last month and is taken to follow up. Henrietta Knight's charge put in an exhibition round of jumping before coming clear on the run-in to score easily and this well regarded type can enhance his growing reputation as a bright chasing prospect. Hersov was far from fluent on the way to a 19-length maiden chase victory at Leicester when last seen and needs to improve his jumping technique. Cambrian Dawn has some useful hurdling form to his name but made an inauspicious start to his chasing career when making mistakes before falling at Hereford when last seen in action and has something to prove while the remainder look outclassed.
