WASAN looks the class act in this field and he is taken to get the better of King Of Rome, Perks and Copperbeech. The selection chased home All The Aces in a Listed contest at Newmarket back in June when he was no match for the winner. He had previously won in this grade and with the drop in trip in his favour today he sets the standard for the others. King Of Rome has been a little disappointing of late but there is little doubt that on the pick of his form he would have a big chance. If he were to bounce back to form then he would be the one to beat, but he will need to show a bit more of his old sparkle before we are prepared to put him forward as a bet. Perks ran well for a long way in Listed company at Pontefract last time before fading close home, while Copperbeech hails from a yard in good form and she is unexposed. Philatelist has gone well here in the past but he may find this company too hot to handle, and we will stick with Wasan as the choice.
