      Verdict

      Pelagian and Merry Me will need to be above average to score in this company on their debuts. Tableforten was well beaten in last week's Windsor Castle at Ascot but has decent claims on his earlier win at Windsor. Razor Quest is also going the right way judged on his victory in a Kempton maiden three weeks ago but the tentative vote goes to LIGEIA. She scored by a couple of lengths at Newbury earlier this month and that could prove the strongest form on offer.
