Verdict
Whittle Le Woods is on a hat-trick but was beaten by Papa Stour on more favourable terms over 7f here in January. Stuart Williams’ gelding, who has improved over the winter, then won over track and trip before an unlucky run at Lingfield but is partnered by an inexperienced apprentice. Tommy de Vito can continue on an upward curve after wins here and at Southwell while Ejtilaab has been keeping good company over at Meydan. ROYAL CRUSADE was favourite for a Listed race in Dubai in January but found one too good. A Group 3 winner back in 2020, he ended last season with a win here and can get his head back in front.
