Reveillez can complete a hat-trick of wins over timber at the expense of Clear Thinking, Give Me Love and Sindapour. James Fanshawe's six-year-old has not put a foot wrong since being sent over timber, winning both starts, at Windsor and Doncaster. Denied an opportunity to show that he has speed as well as stamina when Friday's card was abandoned, he should outclass his rivals today en-route to the Royal & SunAlliance Hurdle. Also in his favour is the fact that he has won here on the Flat in the past, and he rates a solid bet. Ex-French Clear Thinking got the better of the selection's stable companion Prins Willem on his Newbury debut, but the margin was only a neck, and although he can benefit from step up in trip, James Fanshawe has a clear line to work on and will be confident of finishing ahead of Venetia Williams' five-year-old. Give Me Love came up against a very useful sort in My Way de Solzen at Exeter and should not be totally ruled out, while Sindapour, a former decent stayer on the Flat and quite useful over timber as well, returns from a break and should be noted in the market, given his stable's knack of getting them ready. The class horse here though is Reveillez and he is the one to beat.
