Verdict

Ghost Serge competed in Listed company last year having won his first couple of outings in novice events and defied a penalty to win at Carlisle. Rated 96, he may prove too good for First Contact, who made a winning start at Newcastle at the start of the month. Luna Eclipse may prove best of the rest with experience of the racecourse but the newcomer WALK IN THE SUN (NAP) gets the vote. Jeremy Noseda’s 1.4 million euros purchase has an entry in the Irish 2000 Guineas and is Ryan Moore’s only ride of the meeting.
