In depth

Verdict

An excellent little race with all seven entries holding some sort of a chance. Fred Willetts' two recent victories have come on Fibresand and, though effective on this surface, he faces a very stiff task. Mi Regalo created a good impression when landing his maiden over the C&D last month and there is more to come from him, as there is from STIRLING BRIDGE who gets the vote to complete a C&D hat-trick. William Jarvis' son of Kyllachy has won two handicaps here in emphatic style and, though suffering in the weights as a consequence, still looks ahead of the handicapper. Liberty Green's two victories have been over the minimum trip at Lingfield and she didn't look quite as effective when tried over this C&D last month.
