Mudallel bids for a hat-trick of course and distance wins raised a further 6lb but Ventura Blues failed to cope with a 7lb hike last time having won here earlier. Golden Wedding has been in the mix recently and was beaten only a length at the track on his latest start while Cherbourg went close at Lingfield at the start of the year but disappointed here when last in action. Course regular Finelcity is not badly treated on last year’s winning form but MASARZAIN continues to hold his form and Archie Watson’s charge should make another bold bid on the back of a second at Epsom.
