In depth

Verdict

Another wide open race rounds off the card but Chevin could be the answer with Theatre Lady and Banningham Blaze the others for the shortlist. The selection was hampered last time out when well beaten by Ego Trip at Thirsk, and if she can avoid such traffic problems here then she should take plenty of beating. Theatre Lady rates the main danger even though she was well beaten in a ladies race last time. She goes well for today's pilot Fran Ferris and she would be leading player here on the pick of her form. Banningham Blaze has been consistently all season and she ran really well when second behind Lazzaz at Warwick last time. She was given a lot to do by her rider in that race and if she is ridden closer to the pace here she should go well. Regency Red won well last time and is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Chevin.
