In depth

Verdict

A Listed winner in Italy, Lady Dutch is interesting with her new trainer Marco Botti having a good line on the form. He sent out Grendisar to win over 1m2f at Lingfield last Saturday with both Afonso De Sousa well beaten. BALTIC KNIGHT (NAP) was well behind Grendisar in December but the latter is much better over today's shorter trip and the Hannon colt gets the nod ahead of The Rectifier on today's terms. Seamus Durack's charge made a winning reappearance in last year's renewal but has a 7lb penalty to carry this time around while Noble Citizen and Tea Blossom, a maiden winner in France, have something to prove in this grade.
