      Verdict

BEAU GESTE (NAP) made a winning start for Tony Carroll’s yard when scoring over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton on his first outing since June. He got up late on that occasion to beat a subsequent dual winner and there should be plenty more to come this year. Deleyll is back on a winning mark if rediscovering his best and is preferred to Pioneering but Muraaqeb looks a bigger threat on last month’s placed efforts. Regulator is worth another try over this far while The Grey Goat is one of the least exposed.
