In depth

Verdict

RIVER MAIGUE was thought good enough to run in the Supreme Novices' over timber at Cheltenham in 2013. Last season's campaign was interrupted by injury but he has plenty of class and can make a winning start over fences. Fayette County was a progressive sort over hurdles last season and looks the type to make a chaser. He should be winning soon but it may take a while for Tango De Juilley to regain full match fitness and Ted Spread, though consistent, hasn't won for a very long time. Fair Loch will find easier opportunities in the future.
