    Verdict

Acquittal is getting steadily closer and found only one too good when sent off favourite at Lingfield last month. But BALAYAGE should also be winning soon and, with headgear fitted for the first time today after a close-up fifth over track and trip, Marco Botti's filly may well open her account here. Shades of Silk has been running well at Southwell while both Foxford and Sur Empire have slid down the weights and it's only a matter of time before one of them takes advantage.
