HOOT can have the last laugh in this maiden after having the misfortune of running up against a decent sort at Lingfield on his most recent appearance. With Godolphin's juveniles in such good order at present, he has to be the percentage call. Barking has proved expensive to follow but the draw has been kind to him today and it would be no surprise to see Richard Hughes making plenty of use of him tonight. Cocohatchee looked as if he could have a race within his compass earlier in the season though a mark of 77 might be flattering. Marcus Tregoning isn't noted as a prolific trainer of juvenile winners but Konstantin, a 120 000 guinea purchase, is interesting as he is a half-brother to Aspen Darling. Zahraan, who is conversely the mount of Martin Dwyer, could well be better over slightly further.
