Sherjawy, Boisdale and Prettilini are three against the field in a tight finale and the vote is given to Sherjawy. The selection won well last time out when beating Maktavish in a seller, this is a seller in all but name and despite top weight under conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Boisdale rates the main danger on his best form as he has dropped to a handy mark but he has shown little of late so can not be put forward with much confidence. Prettilini was a fair third behind Blackheath last time out, that form looks solid in the context of this race but he is hard to win with. Vlasta Weiner has the ability to win a race of this nature but does not always like to use it and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Sherjawy who at least won last time out.
