In depth

Verdict

Fast Forward can complete the hat-trick here at the main expense of Limited Edition and Fork Lightning. Venetia Williams has her stable in great form at present and the drop back in trip today should suit her seven-year-old gelding. He handles the ground well and should make a bold bid today from the front. Limited Edition may try to put it down to the selection at the head of affairs and he certainly has claims today as he sauntered to victory last time out over course and distance and he should go well today off this mark of 122. Fork Lightning heads the weights but should put up a bold show. His trainer is now off the 'cold' list and he should run better off this 3lb lower mark than when well-beaten three weeks ago. Lewis Island has claims given his stable's good form, however we will return to Fast Forward to land the hat-trick.
