Verdict

Star Of Wins disappointed bidding for a hat-trick when only third of four runners at Yarmouth. He’s not out of this back down in class but LUNCIES (NAP) looks the more progressive. The latter won at Haydock recently on his handicap debut and first start gelded and there should be plenty more to come from the Crisford’s charge. Amir Kabir is another on the upgrade having won at Newmarket last month and Ryan Moore takes over the reins but Never Alone seems best at Wolverhampton. Damage Control has only won a maiden so far though was narrowly beaten over track and trip earlier and is preferred to Media Storm.

Star Of Wins (IRE) 11-8fav (8-6) Raced in 3rd throughout, pushed along entering home straight, plugged on but never going pace to threaten, 3rd of 4, 5 1/2l behind Emissary (9-5) at Yarmouth 1m 3f hcp (2) gf in Sep.
