In depth

Verdict

Bold Adventure is selected in this competitive little affair with Sir Duke and Turners Touch appearing the most obvious dangers. Willie Musson's charge was a revelation last season on the artifical surfaces at the back end of last season and whilst the drop in trip has to be of a slight concern, if the money is down, he should be followed. Sir Duke arrives in winning form. He won decisively at Great Leighs and can be anticipated to give a good account here. Turner's Touch is far from straioght forward. He ought to have won more than he has. Megalala is consistent enough at this level although the handicapper has had plenty of chance to do his sums. Steely Dan often pops up at decent prices and should be thereabouts. Kokkoklia takes a first step into handicaps and could literally be anything. Resplendent Ace looks best of the rest. Plenty of chances held in this trappy affair and we side with Bold Adventure.
