Verdict

SEE THE SEA defied a 9lb rise to land a hat-trick with last month’s convincing victory at Taunton. She's made every yard on all three occasions and is the one to beat in her current form. Paso Doble won a novices’ race over track and trip before struggling in Grade 2 company and makes his handicap debut while Glimpse Of Gold won at Lingfield recently but Timberman is preferred on last month’s third at Cheltenham. Just The Man also came up short at Cheltenham more recently and is preferred of the remainder.
