In depth

Verdict

The three-year-old TAMMUZ has been making very good progress and though 7lb higher for her victory here three weeks ago was value for much more than that and with improvement likely she's taken to follow-up. Havelovewilltravel made a winning debut over the course and distance when well supported and a mark of 65 looks reasonable enough while a 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run from The Great Gabrial, who ran on powerfully to score at Lingfield last week. Bertie Moon won at Southwell last time but has gone well here in the past and his rider's claim is a real bonus.
