Verdict

LIGHTSHIP won with more in hand than the official winning margin suggests when scoring over track and trip on her debut. She can defy a 5lb rise with more to come. Course regular Crystal Casque was winning for the fifth time here when successful last month but Smiling Sunflower could only manage third when favourite at Wolverhampton. Albion Princess won her penultimate start before finishing behind Finery but the latter disappointed last time.
