In depth

Verdict

Coolmore have an interest in the newcomer Sun Or Shade, a half-brother to Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Wrote. Here And Now and Eggesford are other debutants to note but another chance goes to ALABASTER. The latter was sent off a strong favourite at Chelmsford last week but never looked like catching the winner after a tardy start - he should know more today. Balashakh finished well beaten when third at Lingfield last time and will need to step up on that to get involved in the finish.
