Verdict

A penalty makes life tougher for recent winner Kinsman and it may pay to side with MR REV in a truly awful race. Classified races provide poor horses with a chance of relative glory and we side with Mr Rev in this one. Milton Bradley's gelding has a fair draw from which to work from today, ran well in defeat last time out, and has the services of Robert Winston on board again today; it all looks set for a big run. Baba Ghanoush was poor last time and needs to forget that run but he is drawn in the car park, so a bigger threat could be Kinsman. He won at Great Leighs last time and having won over the course and the distance before, he could put his experience to good use. Prince Rossi needs a market check returning to the track; he has been off the track for 232 days and tries a visor for the first time. Your Golf Travel represents shrewd connections and has a good draw today; a repeat of his Musselburgh run in June when trained by John Wainwright would be enough to take this race. Bad Moon Rising and Beckenham's Secret both ran well in defeat last time, but we will take that to happen again with hold-up performer Mr Rev fancied to hit top gear in the closing stages and land the prize.
