Open Sea showed promise in her first two starts but was disappointing last time at Newcastle when beaten 11 lengths. Coastguard Watch is probably best on Polytrack and sports first-time blinkers but others have more scope. Riviera Claire is one and could be thereabouts if she can recapture the form she showed here on debut while Orchid Killer has to go on the short-list given her trainer’s record in races of this type lately. DANCING JO won over track and trip last month and was just beaten on a return visit over a mile. Racing off the same mark today, Mick Channon’s colt looks the one to beat.
