Verdict
Miss Crick began her winning run in May at Worcester and has scored three times subsequently. She was beaten in a three-way photo in a Listed contest at Wetherby last time and is an obvious contender. Surtee Du Berlais was gaining her third victory over timber when landing a novice hurdle over 2m5f here in April and she's bred to be a stayer so this trip will hold no terrors. But RONS DREAM just gets the nod as she won a Listed handicap at Cheltenham's Open meeting a year ago and ended the campaign landing a tough handicap at Ayr. Jessber's Dream enters the fray with an 8lb penalty for her victory in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Sandown as she then finished runner-up, albeit at a safe distance, to Jer's Girl in the Mares' Championship at Fairyhouse in March. Morello Royale won this last year, her second victory on the track, then appeared to find Sandown and Cheltenham too stiff on her only subsequent starts. Run Ructions Run has plenty of winning form, though may do better when reverting to fences, while Magic Memory takes a big step up in class.
