Prim And Proper won here in April and at Salisbury in June. Her last two runs have been over hurdles where she's run very poorly. John Butler has his horses in good form and BLACKTHORN STICK is the type to defy a big price and reward each-way support. He wasn't suited to front-running on his reappearance here a couple of weeks ago and that should have brought him on for this. Abigails Angel last won in March 2012 and though she's been running well she continues to climb the weights. Red Shadow will be having her 50th race but she's never raced over this trip while Ferryview Place is better over further.
