Verdict

Eagle Nebula arrives in good form and, though this year's three wins have been over 1m4f, he went close at Newmarket over today's trip last month. However SIT TIGHT continued his steady progress with a victory over C&D three weeks ago and, with the runner-up having won since, the form looks solid. Chris Wall's charge gets the vote ahead of Point Du Jour, who has been holding his form well over a mile at this track and is worth another try at this distance. Mauritino ran as though the outing was needed on his return from a two-month absence last time and has claims on his earlier win at Newbury.
